What exactly am I paying for?
Workspace shape: the number of members, environments, locales, and entries in a project. You never pay per API call, per bandwidth GB, or per published asset. Two projects on the same plan cost the same even if one serves a quiet site and the other catches a traffic spike.
Is the price per project or per account?
Per project, per month. Pro is $29 and Team is $199 for one project each. Add a second project and it bills as its own line at the same rate, so a three-project Team account is $597 a month. Free stays free for one project, forever.
What happens when I cross a plan's capacity?
Nothing breaks and nothing surprise-bills. When a project approaches its member, environment, locale, or entry ceiling, the Studio warns you in-app and prompts an upgrade. We never silently meter overage or send an invoice you did not agree to.
Can I pay annually?
Yes. Annual billing takes two months off the yearly total, so Pro lands at $290 a year and Team at $1,990. Enterprise is annual-only and starts at the published $1.5k-per-month floor.
What does the Enterprise floor actually cover?

Can I downgrade or cancel?
Any time, self-service, with 30 days before the change takes effect. There is no lock-in on the open-source core: it is yours under Apache-2.0 and your content stays in your Postgres. Cancelling a paid plan drops the hosted add-ons, not your data.
Do open-source contributors and nonprofits get a discount?
Yes. Registered nonprofits and maintainers of public OSS projects get Team free on one project. Email hello@chilicms.dev with a link to the org or the repo and we turn it on within a working day.
